FaithCoaches

So my current project is one I'm happy to be teaming up with Bill Copper and Kathryn McElveen to write. Bill is the Director of the Hollifield Leadership Center in Hickory, NC and Kathryn is a coach living in Greenville, SC. Bill and Kathryn are a part of The Columbia Partnership and teach with me at Western Seminary's three west coast campuses. They know a lot about coaching and how it can impact ministry.

The book came about when I considered how valuable it would be for lots of people in a congregation (or college, or homeless shelter, or wherever) to know how to use the skills of coaching to help others move forward in faith. I had written a course for Western called The Coach Approach to Evangelism and Discipleship which has been a big hit and I thought it'd be a great idea to make those kinds of ideas and connections available to the masses.
